Hi I am Zhenya (pronounced like Kenya with a /ZH/ 
The blog was named after one of my favorite TV shows, called Being Erica. This page is the expression of who I am, what I love to do, and other small tid-bits of my life.
I was born and raised in Russia, but now I live in Minneapolis. I have also lived in New Jersey and Manhattan.
I love everything thrifted and/or vintage. This is one of the ways I “reuse”, and am proud of it! Reviews on the thrift stores of Minneapolis and the “burbs” are coming up!
I also DIY, I fell in love with crafts at the age of 10 or maybe even earlier. Growing up my mom was always knitting/crocheting/cross-stitching/sewing – she became my inspiration! And still is!
I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and… I believe in miracles.

I love thrift store shopping! My daughter & I love hunting for good deals at thrift stores – it’s like finding treasure!

Filutka is just the declination form (in Polish but maybe in Russian too we change the words endings depending on the cause). Anyway, I really like the mixture of your topics and the layout (if it was not for the header I wouldn’t enter the page

Thank you for commenting. I have never heard of the technique, but I will google it as soon as I am off work today! I have tried so much already, affirmations have been helping me a lot, but my Grandma is at the stage of seeing things, like animals, people or objects. I had no idea cancer could do all that.
